The Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb is excited to announce that we will be holding the 3rd Zagreb Law Summer School, and that we have opened the registration for all potential participants.
The summer school, titled “ Copyright Law in the Digital Era – Media, Creativity and AI”, will take place from June 29 to July 10, 2026, and is open to students and professionals in the field of law, political science, and sociology. The application deadline is June 15, and the applications can be submitted via the following link.
This year, we have another exciting piece of news for all potential applicants: 10 applicants with the strongest profile and motivation letters will receive a stipend which will cover the summer school fees (in the amount of EUR 600), and which will be funded by our sponsor, HDS ZAMP. We are hoping that this opportunity will attract a higher number of high-quality participants who might not have had a chance to participate otherwise, so please, make sure to emphasise this piece of information to all those interested in applying.
This international summer school offers a unique opportunity for understanding challenges of copyright law and legislation regarding media and creativity in today’s world and in the context of the rapid development of artificial intelligence. Through lectures and workshops led by distinguished experts in law, political science, and sociology, participants will engage in an enriching academic experience in a dynamic and interactive environment.
The ZagLaw Summer School is designed to attract both local and international students, offering a high-quality academic programme alongside the vibrant urban and cultural attractions of Zagreb. Each edition focuses on a topic of particular European and global relevance.
In addition to the academic programme, participants will enjoy a carefully designed cultural and social programme that will allow them to experience Zagreb and connect with colleagues from different countries and disciplines.
