Rui Tavares Lanceiro, Professor Auxiliar da Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa, participará no 30.º Fórum de Lisboa do Centro Norte-Sul do Conselho da Europa, em Lisboa, sobre o tema «IA e Governação Global: Direitos, Representatividade e Preparação».
Será moderador da segunda sessão plenária intitulada «Diálogo Digital ou Divisão Digital? IA, Inclusão e Representação Cultural», que terá lugar no dia 28/10 (16h30-18h00). O objetivo é ter uma discussão ao estilo de Davos sobre como os sistemas de IA podem reforçar estereótipos e preconceitos culturais ou tornar-se ferramentas de inclusão e compreensão mútua.

Rui Tavares Lanceiro, Assistant Professor of the University of Lisbon School of Law, will participate in the 30th Lisbon Forum of the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe, in Lisbon, on the subject “AI and Global Governance: Rights, Representativity and Readiness”.
He will moderate the second plenary session titled “Digital Dialogue or Digital Divide? AI, Inclusion and Cultural Representation”, which takes place on 28/10 (16.30-18.00). The objective is to have a Davos-style discussion on how AI systems can either reinforce stereotypes and cultural bias or become tools for inclusion and mutual understanding.
