The application for public higher education is made annually through a national competition conducted by the Directorate General for Higher Education (DGES).
Applicants for Higher Education via General Admission must:
– Hold a secondary education programme or a legally equivalent qualification;
– Take or have taken in the last two years the national examinations corresponding to the admission tests required in the academic year of their application.
The admission tests required to attend the study cycle conferring a bachelor’s degree are the following:
