Admission

The admission requirements for the Master’s in Law – “European Legal Practice” are the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law;
  • Excellent command of at least 2 of the three languages of the partner Universities (Portuguese, German and French);
  • Good knowledge of English.

The applications to the Master’s in Law – “European Legal Practice” must be submitted to the University where the prospective student intends to complete his/her programme, by filling in this form.

Applications

Students who wish to apply via the University of Lisbon School of Law, must do so until 31 July.

Documents to be submitted

When applying to the Master’s in Law – “European Legal Practice” the following documents must be attached to the duly filled form:

  • Copy of the certificate of completion of the Bachelor’s degree from the country of origin (with translation in Portuguese or English);
  • Recommendation letter of the Director or of two professors from the School of origin;
  • Certificate of language proficiency in two of the three languages of the Universities of the Consortium (German, French and Portuguese), issued by the respective School of the University of origin;
  • Detailed curriculum (self-portrait), indicating the previous areas of study, academic interests for the stay abroad, biographical information, e.g. marital status, etc. (maximum 2 pages);
  • Motivation letter;
  • Copy of the passport or identity document.
