The Faculty has its own legal journal and specialised journals coordinated by research institutes or centres. The magazine “O Direito”, although not owned by FDUL, has its editorial headquarters here.

The Journal of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, “Lisbon Law Review”, reformulated in 2014-2015, began a new tradition, reflecting a strong editorial policy, modernised, following criteria of excellence and making good use of the peer-review process. This model is also followed by specialised journals. The “new” Journal is clearly committed to publishing content in a foreign language in addition to the traditional articles in Portuguese, in order to catapult the legal science produced within FDUL beyond the Lusophone space.

The specialised thematic journals focus on the topics studied by the Faculty’s various research institutes and centres.
