Students

The Lisbon School of Law considers academic monitoring to be one of its priority areas, as well as monitoring its students and alumni professional integration.

Therefore, it has been encouraging both the academic integration (welcoming new students, promoting mentoring activities in specific curricular units of the Bachelor’s programme and seeking to provide the resources necessary for the successful learning of students with special needs) and the promotion of employment and employability skills (by organizing Traineeship and Employment Workshops, Employability Workshops that allow students to acquaint themselves with the different career choices in Law, periodically advertising job offers, providing support in drafting CVs and promoting softskills events and training). It has also been increasing promotion of the support to continued study by creating social merit scholarships, thus giving economically disadvantaged students the chance to complete their higher education.

The idea is to acknowledge and face the student as a whole and to accompany him/her along his/her path, in different areas, with his/her personal success in mind and, as a consequence, the success of the FDUL community.
