Access to information and the protection of communications in a global and technological world are recognised as determining factors for economic and social progress and for the sovereignty of states. National and international institutions have been created to regulate, monitor and implement cyberspace strategies, as well as to develop critical infrastructures, where qualified professionals work, both technically and academically and scientifically, who have sought to complement their training with this 2nd cycle of studies.
The Master’s in Information Security and Law in Cyberspace runs on an after-work basis and is a joint initiative of the Instituto Superior Técnico and the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and the Naval Academy.
