The Director is the primary body that represents and oversees the School of Law. She/He is elected by the School Board at its first ordinary meeting.

The Director is responsible for representing the School in front of University bodies and externally; appointing Deputy Directors among the professors or Ph.D. researchers who are members of the Academic Board; chairing the Academic Board and the Management Board; appointing the jury for academic competitions, based on proposals by the Scientific Board; supervising employees and administrative services; carrying out the resolutions of the School Board, the Scientific Board and the Pedagogical Council; entering into accords or cooperation agreements with other entities, following consultations with the Scientific Board and the Academic Board; establishing school awards; and exercising the powers delegated to him or her by the Dean.
