Portuguese co-coordinator of the Team OLA-Portugal (Observatory on Local Autonomy), working in the development of the project La gouvernance locale dans l’Union européenne: vers un modèle de citoyenneté locale européenne?, headed by the University of Lille and under the auspices of the Council of Regions of the European Union (January 2009 – October 2012).
Main researcher of the project Institutionalization of Local Government in the new Portuguese-speaking countries, in development within the Centre for Research in Public Law of the Institute of Legal and Political Sciences (2013/…).
